Makers of the weird west RPG Deadlands, the future-horror sequel Deadlands: Hell on Earth, and Weird Wars. Former makers of the dark future superhero RPG Brave New World, which was later acquired by AEG. Pinnacle was founded in 1994 by Shane Hensley, who was aided by friend John Hopler and fellow authors Matt Forbeck and Greg Gorden. It became a full-time company in 1996. In September 2000, it was acquired by Cybergames.com, but Cybergames subsequently disappeared and Pinnacle is currently headed by founder Shane Hensley. However, later publications by Hensley have been under the company title Great White Games. Great White Games officially took over all the Pinnacle brands in 2004, including Deadlands, Hell on Earth, Lost Colony, Weird Wars, and Fields of Honor.
