Maud Moonshine befriends Mildred on the first day of term, by rescuing her from the dustbins, and they quickly become best friends. Maud is the shorter of the two, with glasses and pigtails.
Maud is a great best friend; she gives a lot of love and is fiercely protective. She loyally stands by Mildred through her many escapades and will often jump in and save the day. Sometimes though, she gets jealous and becomes terribly sulky. On a "normal" day at Cackle's, she can be seen with Mildred, Ruby, Jadu and Enid.
She's very good at music and public speaking, and enjoys the romantic, the gothic and the dramatic. She can often be found singing with Miss Bat in one of her many concerts and celebrations. Unlike Mildred, she comes from a well-known witch family and receives presents like bats on her birthday.
