Project Nemesis Notes

This is a page of notes related to Project Nemesis, a horror role-playing game designed by Dennis Detwiller and Greg Stolze. It uses the ORE (One Roll Engine) mechanics originally developed for Godlike: Superhero Roleplaying in a World on Fire, 1936-1946, and also adapts the madness meter rules from Unknown Armies. The ORE mechanics have also been used in Wild Talents, released in 2006.

In fall of 2006, I ran a short campaign set in Normandy 1944 -- where the PCs were regular joes rather than superheroes. (I dubbed it "Mortal" in contrast to "Godlike".) However, the game only ended up going a five sessions or so, covering their action during D-Day but not continuing. We were not thrilled with the rule set for the sort of action we were doing.
