Lagakin Rituals

     Ceremony is the skill at particular magical castings. These generally require major investments of time and effort, with arduous procedures. Some sample rites are below. I will specify more details and costs for these later. The following are some lagakin rituals:

• Ceremony of Oath-Binding: When performed with a willing and understanding participant, this rite can make an oath absolutely and physically binding.
• Ceremony of Passage: This marks a youth as being ready to contact his totem spirit, aiding his ritual ordeal. Assuming that he survives his ordeal, the youth will gain permanent aid from the totem spirit of his clan.
• Warding: This consecrates a home against malignant spirits. A corporeal spirit with harmful intent cannot enter into a warded home, although it can attempt indirect means of causing harm to those within.
