Stephanie Britten is a dedicated music student in her sophmore year. She has an eclectic variety of interests and skills, but no specialty beyond general music. She is a competant oboe player and singer, but not exceptional. She does have a extraordinary memory, particularly for memorizing speeches or bits of music.

She comes from Oakland where she grew up with her single mother. Ever since she was 13 or so, she has had occaisional dizzy spells and quickly developed a general fear of heights. She also has had bouts of insomnia.

At present, her insomnia is driving both her and her two roommates crazy. She needs to read or listen to music when she can't sleep, but even her walkman and the lamp next door wake up her roommates.

The experiment sounded interesting, and would be great if it worked. Still, her main motivation was simply that it would mean getting out of the suite for two nights a week.

Skills: Stephanie is a fount of useless knowledge, with occaisional useful bits thrown in. She does well in all her classes, but rarely outstanding. She is a reasonably skilled musician, but again not very specialized.

Description: Stephanie is medium height (5'9'') with a young-looking face, framed by mid-length black hair. She is unathletic, but not noticeably overweight or thin. She usually wears contacts to correct her slight near-sightedness.
