| The
Free Theocratic State
Of Himalaya (FTSH) is a very powerful government
located on the highest mountain in the world. It is widely known as the
"State of Gods". The exact topography of the
FTSH is unknown. The FTSH consists of various councils whose members are
all gods or demi-gods. One hundred and eleven gods
are the Council Of Gods. This committee is
responsible for all political and philosophical activities of the FTSH.
The FTSH has been founded in 2094. As a direct
reaction to this, humans, artificial intelligences and intelligent animals
united and started a war against the FTSH. This war was called Mortal's
War. As of today, nobody really knows what is going on inside the state.
All foreign ambassadors have been closed out.
The FTSH is also known
for a very high concentration of magical energy (sometimes the Zaubermann
Scale showed a solid 9) - no wonder, since you're dealing with gods
here. 50 percent of the world's magical-scientific
breakthroughs come from the heights of Himalaya.
The FTSH does not have any diplomatic contacts or relations to any other state in the world. There seem to be several dozens of evil gods in the FTSH. Shocked visitors report that they witnessed gods sacrificing living human beings. One of the most dreadful institutions on Mobworld is the Himalaya Blood Court. The Blood Court is the royal court of the State of Gods. Crimes have to be paid for in blood and pain. For human standards, even the smallest theft results in a long and painful death. More than one visitor could tell us a story or two about this - if he survived the Blood Court. The Free Theocratic State Of Himalaya is known for their disrespect, even hatred, for artificial intelligences. Some of the most devious computer viruses designed especially for use against AIs have been developed by the FTSH. At the moment, the FTSH emits 8.7 to 8.8 on the Zaubermann Scale. This is enough of a proof that something is going on on Himalaya. All attempts to eavesdrop or skyspy (via satellite) the State of Gods have been unsuccessful: transmission problems turned out to be unsurpassable. Interesting sidenote: every time during those surveillance attempts, the Zaubermann Scale reached between 8.5 and 9 points. |
