So please prepare for stuff that not always makes a hell lot of sense ;) The best plot writing advice I've ever encountered within the pages of a roleplaying rulebook is this. A plot that's two lines long? Example please? Here you are: "... The players will define the details of the plot through their actions. For example, it is enough for a Director [GM] to say: 'White Tiger Lee, notorious smuggler and pirate, is moving operations into Hong Kong, and the player's Triad is threatened.' There's your plot. How the plot develops depends upopn what the players decide to do about Mr. Lee." (p. 56, HongKongActionTheatre! rulebook) |
