Kerdelak

From a collective which is decentralized on the south continent, but 
militaristic and with a guild-like structure.  He worked for them as 
a bail-bondsman, starting from age 16 when he was sent there by his 
home family.  It was fairly prestigious collective.  He later worked 
as a SWAT-type sniper for them.  


He became quite loyal to the collective.  He is ambitious, and thus 
entered into 

Enlisted with Marines at age 22

2 tours with Marines (7 years)
3 tours with Fleet (10 years)

Age 39

Methodical, but not in a huge hurry for promotions.  He eventually
wants to muster out and bring his skills back to the collective. 
He has sought out a variety of posts, mostly 

Non-outgoing, doesn't make many friends in Star Fleet.  He plays
poker, but just pockets the money he wins, which generates some
resentment.  He is suspicious of Orions, and to some degree with
anyone who is frivolous.  

His friends are people with a similar attitude -- intelligent,
practical, and to some degree professional.  Wants to be friends with
the Supply Officer.
