An older man in his 40s, but stronger than any two civilized men and more dangerous unarmed than they with swords. He is a leader in the village and father of the twins (Eanbotha and Canbotha). Since early war campaigns, he has stayed in the village and been a responsible leader, husband, and father. Within the village, he has been dubbed "Peacemaker" for resolving disputes, but his peace is the sort from firm words and reeling heads. Like most Cimmerians, he has few words, but they have eloquence and force. Physically, he is a massive bull of a figure, with tree-like arms and brown curly hair in a thin fringe over the massive muscles of his chest. He has a short brown beard, which stands in contrast to his shaven head.

Combat: Cruaidh generally wields a huge two-handed bardiche for maximum effect. He may use Fighting Madness at will in addition to the Crimson Mist (upon a terror save), each lasting 6 rounds with the following effects:

However, he is also deadly unarmed. The Brawl feat makes his unarmed damage 1d6 base, and it may be either lethal or nonlethal. With the Improved Grapple feat, he can grapple by rolling a touch attack vs dodge at +16, then an opposed grapple check at +20 (and this does not provoke an Attack of Opportunity). With the Crushing Grip feat, he immediately deals unarmed damage which may be dealt to Con, Dex, or Str at his choice (the opponent saves at DC 21 for half damage). Skills: Cruaidh is an effective leader through watching, listening, and making his few words count rather than long speeches. With the Alertness feat and many ranks, he is excellent at both Listen and Spot.
