TIME LORD -- A Doctor Who role-playing game
Doctor Who -- Time Lord is a pencil and paper role-playing game written by Ian Marsh and Peter Darvill-Evans. This is an archive of the files made public by the authors but which are no longer available from their former site. A new third edition of the game (the "Express Edition" is also available from Steven Ege: /p>
The original files are zipped Postscript files, so you will need a Postscript printer or a Postscript emulator such as Ghostscript to print them out. The pages are 90% reduced from A4 so should work on A4 and US letter paper and still give you a big enough margin to put the rules in a ring-binder. The files were revised on 12th August 1996 to eliminate some problems experienced by Ghostscript users and to correct some very minor typos.

Original Message from Ian Marsh
The rules are virtually as they were written in 1991. They do not take account of the new Doctor Who movie. If anyone notices any discrepancies between these rules and the original book, please let me know. A nice friendly email will do.
Doctor Who -- Time Lord was originally published by Virgin Publishing in 1991 (ISBN 0426 203623), with illustrations by Colin Howard. It is out of print and only if you're lucky will you find a copy.
This electronically published edition is copyright 1996 Ian Marsh and Peter Darvill-Evans. It is published on the understanding that the rights to the book have reverted to the authors. If the worst comes to the worst, Virgin didn't buy the electronic rights anyway. Ho, ho, ho. Peter Darvill-Evans has very graciously given his consent as co-author to me republishing it.
Time Lord is freeware, but that doesn't mean you can go around abusing the authors' copyright and passing it off as your own work. Feel free to help distribute it.
